Another great review for Goddess' Revenge, this time from Morgan at JERR:

This beautifully written story was rich with eloquent descriptions and flowery words. I really enjoyed this fun short story. I have always been attracted to the Greek gods and reading about them in an erotic genre was enjoyable. Psyche is a whisper of a girl with endearing and sweet traits. Eros is a hunky, strong, stunning presence in the story, as the god of love should be. The sex is pleasantly more erotic than I had expected with a few surprises that really cement the passion of the story. There was no doubt of the love between these characters despite the looming danger. Speaking of which, Aphrodite is the epitome of enticing evil; a truly delightful character.

4 Stars and an H rating!  Thank you!

Evadne at Enchantress Erotics has this to say about Goddess' Revenge:

"The love story between the Greek God of Love Eros and his mortal love Psyche is legendary. Eros is sent to punish Psyche for being so beautiful that her admirers rival those of the Goddess Aphrodite. Instead of punishing her he falls for her and that is where the fun begins.

"The erotic encounters in this book at H-O-T and extremely well written! Ms. Spurrier mixed the right amount of mythology in the mix and it turned out to be one great book. This story makes me want to invoke the God of Love!!"

The Shequanti 1:The Stone Table --

From Romance Reviews --"...THE STONE TABLE is a marvelous blend of fantasy and passionate scenes that will make you yearn for a cool drink and adventure. Kate is just coming off of a nasty divorce, her husband was a cheater and managed to convince everyone that the divorce was Kate’s fault and she was obviously suffering some sort of delusions. She’s just starting a new life for herself when she stumbles onto the stone table and Briason’s land. Considering that she’s completely out of her comfort zone, Kate manages to adjust quickly to her changed circumstances, Briason being such a hunk, and good in bed as well, probably doesn’t hurt. ;-) Briason is a hero women will pine for, handsome, noble and determined to do what is right no matter the cost to himself. When Abaus attacks Briason and injures him you’ll be as horrified as Kate is. Although the romance is between Briason and Kate, Abaus is simply too important a character to be considered secondary. He’s evil and scheming and his ability to make Kate want him despite herself is positively Machiavellian. There are no secondary characters of great importance, as the story is primarily focused on Kate, Briason and Abaus.

The first in the Shequanti series, THE STONE TABLE is an entertaining read. I’m looking forward to the second book, THE GILDED SPHINX (coming soon from Changeling Press). If you enjoy stories filled with magic, handsome elves (even if some of them are evil), and fantastic lands unlike our own, this is definitely right up your alley.

5 blue Ribbons from Moon Tee at Romance Junkies:

"MYTHOS: GODDESS REVENGE is a book you will not want to miss. Isabelle Spurrier has written such a moving story that it will bring tears to your eyes. Psyche was such an innocent and Eros sticking himself with his own arrow was funny. The sex scenes were so very hot and wonderfully written that you will be fanning yourself while reading.  Aphrodite was so jealous of Psyche she would do anything to get rid of her. It just made the story even better. I loved this book and I can’t wait until the second book in the series, MYTHOS: 2 MORTAL RETRIBUTIONS comes out. I will be patiently waiting to read it. "

5 Angels from Michelle at FARR:

"The tricks and teases of the gods have nothing on this tale! Mythos: Goddess’ Revenge is a story of deception and passion that really hums with unexpected plot twists and evocative descriptions. The themes of love, betrayal, jealousy, trust, and oh-so-sexy interludes run rampant throughout this gem of a story. I loved Psyche, not for her beauty of form, but instead for her beauty of character, and Eros had intense appeal as well, with his powers and his devotion to what is his. The ending leaves readers hanging for the next book in this series, entitled Mythos: Mortal Retribution, and my money is on Psyche to win the battle for love. Five Angels!"

A 4 from Cathie at Euro Reviews:

"The author gives a vivid and beautiful description of the hills of Olympus as well as the beauty of the characters. Even without knowing about the Greek God mythology, debut author Isabelle Spurrier gives a great easy understanding of the Greek myth of Eros and Psyche in Mythos 1: Goddess' Revenge. The story is written so smoothly that this fantasy will have you visualizing the scenes. Eros and Psyche's relationship is very sensual and romantic. Without knowing the ending of their story, the anticipation of the next book in this series, Mythos 2: Mortal Retribution, is exciting! You'll want to go out and get it now to read more of Eros and Psyche's story. If too, Greek god stories are new to you, this book is the perfect start that is simply beautiful. "

Four Lips and THREE hot peppers from Cat at Two Lips Reviews for BOTH Mythos books!:

"I love Greek myths and Goddess’ Revenge did not disappoint. I loved Isabelle Spurrier’s version of Psyche and her relationship with Eros was both sexy and tender. When events wrenched them apart, I was heartbroken and pressed to start the second book in this series (Mortal Retribution) immediately. Mortal Retribution took me to places I had not intended to go. Psyche’s emotional journey was very well done. The end result for Aphrodite was eminently satisfying. The sexual heat generated by Eros and Psyche was very pleasant, indeed! Mortal Retribution, like Goddess’ Revenge is the perfect blend of hot sex and mythology."

AND-- The first review for Mortal Retribution!  From Michelle at FARR:

“Clash of the Titans”? No, more like “Clash of the Women”! Anyone with a scheming mother-in-law or a misunderstood husband will really appreciate this story! Mythos 2: Mortal Retribution is a book of passion, anger, petty jealousies, and the whims of the gods. The more I hear about the gods and their selfishness, the less I like them! Psyche kicks some serious booty as the vengeful, wounded party in this story, and it was good to see her in full I’m-not-going-to-take-it-anymore mode. The character Pan shines as one of the only gods I’ve seen with a sense of conscience, and he faithfully seeks for someone to help him right the wrongs that Aphrodite committed. Aphrodite is true to form, and in spite of her witchy ways, I liked her spark and shine. Other gods and goddesses make their appearances and the allegiances can change on a dime in Olympus. Mortal Retribution is a great conclusion to a well-told, sensual tale, and earns Four Angels!"
